Our Policy

Thank you for choosing Microblading Columbus Studio.

Please read this information before booking.

• No Kids or any other guest are allowed due to cross contamination and interruption of appointment.

​

• All appointments require a NON-REFUNDABLE & NON-TRANSFERABLE deposit that goes toward the total cost of service.

​

• Payments can be made in cash (recommended) or credit/debit card though cash app, Venmo or Zelle.

​

• To reschedule an appointment a one (1) week notice is required. If you fail to reschedule 1 week prior to your appointment you will forfeit your deposit. Only ONE (1) time rescheduling is allowed. If you choose to completely cancel the appointment you will forfeit your deposit no matter the time frame. • Any client arriving more than 15 minutes late will be cancelled and you will forfeit the deposit. If you decide to cancel and reschedule the client will need to pay another deposit.

• If you've had any previous work done by another artist please send clear pictures of brows before booking. Pictures can be sent via text to (614) 905-189 or emailed to glowbarsalon@gmail.com

​

• All previous work is subjected to an extra charge of $100. If you come to your appointment with previous work done on your brows (old microblading/old tattoo) without notifying us first, you will be sent home and your deposit will be forfeited. Correction work requires more time than the usual appointment time and sometimes its not coverable so please be mindful before booking.

​

• All results will vary per person depending on skin, lifestyle, bone structure, medications taken and aftercare.

​

• We are not liable for any changes to the brows once the final decision has been approved during shaping/consultation.

​

• PRICING IS SUBJECT TO CHANGE AT ANY TIME WITHOUT NOTICE.

​

• Touchup is NOT included in the initial price.

​

• We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any given reason.

​

Restrictions Apply to the following:
​

• 18 and under

​

• Pregnant or breastfeeding

​

• Diabetic (please consult doctor for clearance)

​

• Are currently or have been on antibiotics in the past 2 weeks

​

• Allergic to alcohol, lidocaine, pigments

​

• Any treatment, medication, or illness/disease that compromises the immune system

​

• Transmittable blood conditions such as Hepatitis or HIV.

​

• Glaucoma and/or taking blood thinning medicine.

​

• Mitral valve disorder or high blood pressure.

​

• Epilepsy or has experienced faint spell or seizures

​

• Cancer/Chemotherapy (you will need medical authorization)

​

• Pacemaker or major heart problems

​

• Tendency towards keloids or hypertrophic scarring

​

• Seborrheic dermatitis

​

• Skin irritations, psoriasis, eczema, especially near the treated area (rashes, sunburn, acne, etc.)

​

• Sick (cold, flu, etc.) If you are sick, please call to reschedule your appointment.

​

• Received Botox in the past 3 months in the upper face area

​

• Used Accutane in the past year

​

• Use Retin-A, (must discontinue use of these products at least 4 weeks prior to procedure)

​

• Has received laser treatments, glycolic peels, chemical peels around the treatment area within the past 3 weeks

​

• IF ANY OF THESE APPLY TO YOU,YOU WILL BE DISQUALIFIED AS A CLIENT. IF YOU DO NOT INFORM US AND PROCEED WITH THE APPOINTMENT WE WILL REFUSE TO SERVICE YOU ON THE DAY YOU COME IN AND YOU WILL FORFEIT YOUR DEPOSIT.

Preparing for Appointment:
​
• 24 hrs prior : no alcohol , no tabaco, no caffeine, no thine, no pre workout drinks.​

​

• Feel free to take Tylenol before your appointment as it does not thin the blood. If you have a regular grooming routine with your eyebrows,(i.e. threaded, waxed, tinted, etc.), it is best to have this done 3–4 days before your appointment. All of these are completely optional and do not affect the services, if done within the mentioned time frame.

​

• On the day of your appointment we will start consulting the best option for your brows and designing your new brows based on measurements normally it takes about 1-2hrs. The actual application takes, on average 2-3 hours . So in all, there will be 4-5 hours scheduled per initial appointment. Your touch-up appointment will be much faster and only take about 1-2 hrs depending on the pigment retention from the first appointment.

• The aftercare is very minimal and free aftercare product will be given. There is very little redness or swelling, if any. It is very important to not be in the sun or have any sweating from exercise for the first 10 days after each appointment. Please avoid all lotions, creams, and make up on your new eyebrows during healing. Results vary from person to person and may require additional sessions, beyond the initial appointment and 4–8 week touch-up, to achieve desired results.

• We recommend you come back for your touchup 6-12 weeks from the initial procedure. The reason why this touchup is very important is because we have no idea how your skin will react to the procedure and how it will heal. Healing results vary from client to client and depend on aftercare, lifestyle, and skin type. We use this appointment to analyze the healing results and make any changes needed for the best results possible.

​

• After your first touchup, we recommend coming back yearly for color boosts. NOT EVERYONE will require a yearly touchup. Please remember we care about you and we would much rather keep the integrity of your skin as healthy as possible so if we don't think you need a touchup we will reschedule you for a later date.
